Overall, I’m a bit disappointed with the plus body MC branch. It literally seems incomplete: in the beach scene in chapter 2, there isn’t that reader message on dealing with Preston, and the choice to throw water in Preston’s face is free in that branch while it being gem locked in the generic body

So…
For one, in my app it is called “Crossing The Line” which is a terrible attempt at a name, but anyway.
I barely made it through the first episode. Barely. I only stuck around because I wanted to see what the “new body variations” were all about.
I got about halfway through the second episode before just giving up.
Specifically, I gave up when he walked into her room Monday morning and she was all
“OMG why didn’t you knock i could’ve been changing” and he was all
“not like its something ive never seen before wink wink wink”
Speechbubbles were all out of wack, zooms were weird, characters were stuck in animations they weren’t supposed to be in (whenever the mc is like “uwu we should go see the sunset” and it shows the character holding Bently’s ((isn’t that his name? ew)) hand, they zoom out but Bently is still holding her hand.,…) and oh my god the gem choices…
I lost count of gem choices in the first episode.
“Ew, I could wear this old dress to meet mr. random guy ORRR I could wear this basic dress with a choker!!! OR I COULD ADD MY NECKLACE TO IT FOR 5 MORE GEMS!!!11!11!”

Seriously the directing errors are atrocious but they are numerous, slowly adding to my insanity.

The worst thing about it for me is the amount of exposition thrown at us in the first episode. Instead of telling us about our character in a creative way, they basically just threw it at us.
- oh, my parents are alcoholics
- oh, I ran away cause they treated me like shit
- oh, I met this rich girl by chance and she saved me
- and oh, she’s irresponsible so her step-bro is coming to stay with us

Yeah I thought Episode would have changed that scene.
Like Episode doesn’t need to do much, at least introduce the customisation scene of MC to be an actual makeover as MC canonically is supposed to move on from her past.
In general, I don’t get the sequence. If MC had to leave the house quickly, why didn’t she pack some supplies to take with her, like a driver’s license. Hell, the story could later show how her stuff somehow got stolen while MC is in the bus stop, but at least it can develop MC as being resourceful and prepared

My first impression on Bentley was that he was sweet and lovestruck, now I just see this guy as a demented dude with anger management issues.
Also one question, why do they keep spelling “barely” into “barley” LMAO, another love interest going straight to my “Toxic Jerks” dumpster.

Again, I doubt the story would have to go that far, hence why Episode had the beginning scene of Bentley rescuing MC from the car. He’s just still an ugly character though

This just popped up and I thought the cover looked familiar until I realised it was this story.
I’m not sure if they changed the name for everyone or if it’s just because I’m in a different region or something

To be honest I like the new title better. The last one was too depressing and kind of scary, didn’t match the storyline that much. Plus “Please, Save Me” would be something the MC would say if her past was brought up but so far, no past showing up
