Hi there, male and female isn’t a gender. It’s a term used for biological sex, which is often interchanged with gender identities, a common mistake.

Gender is an expression, a identity, a social construct almost. Such as woman, man - the ‘traditional’ genders. There are MANY genders out there that people identify with. Being non-binary, you can still use pronouns such as he|she or they. They do not conform to the specific gender assigned structures that society has created.

An androgynous person is someone who has both feminine and masculine characteristics. The best example would be Rain Dove, David Bowie and Ruby Rose (such an icon)

By what I meant with identify with woman/man or other genders was the pronouns, I forgot to write that part in :smiley:
