I’m happy we got the ponytail and some new face shapes. The baby face one doesn’t bother me because I have some ideas about how it could be creatively used.

I agree there should be concentrated efforts in understanding how to translate various curly/coiled textures to both look realistic and fit Episode’s style + time spent to create more hair styles. Straight hair has enough to go on.

Really happy about the new hairstyles! Though the new faces… they really went off with the contour, huh? Lol, the only ones I actually like are the ones for older folks.
Also, what’s the problem with the new afro hair? I like it because I’ve never seen a similar hairstyle and looks unique to me, so I don’t see the problem here, which is why I’m genuinely asking.

I personally don’t neccesarily have a problem with the texture because I can see they were going for a 4c look which has a lack of defined curls (though there is room for improvement in areas)

I’m just tired of the sad ratio we actually receive when it comes to afro hair.

This is where my issues lie. The ratio for both male and female afro textured styles is truly appalling. Idk why it’s an issue; there are plenty of threads that give references. Including the one I created. Besides that, Google is a thing too. Tumblr even has groups that help artist and author’s on how to properly depict Black/POC.

It’s off center. The quality of the texture isn’t an issue. At least not for me. But they certainly missed the mark even if I can slightly appreciate the effort.
