In love with that afro idea! It looks beautiful and I tried creating a character with other afro, but this suits my character much better!
Another suggestion would be thick beards, with different lengths and different colors. It’s only a suggestion, but I’m pretty sure not all old men have brown stubbles and not everyone has a stubble.
