I have more friends who work exactly on this field and coding the simplest thing for a car takes months at minimum (testing not included) and only if there are more people working on it.
I don’t get what is this issue with waiting 2 weeks for an update. Heck, I didn’t even know they updated every week…
Also, it’s kind of weird that when we get like 3 new average clothes or eyebrows (seriously?) everyone is like OMG and now that they finally released tattoos for males, you expected more? I mean yeah, they could have made them at least different from the ones for females, but this is still something.
I’ll have to ask him. That’s what he said yesterday when I mentioned this thread. Writing the code for a car would obviously take longer than adding a mole to a pre-existing character model, but this is his project so I doubt it’s taken him months, since we started university 2 months ago and he didn’t spend the whole time doing the car project.
The problem with waiting 2 weeks is when you don’t get 2 weeks of work after that. 3 average clothes or eyebrows in a week is more than satisfactory. Going on update hiatus and then uploading things which shouldn’t take more than 3 days max is ridiculous.
If they had released this last week, it would be fine.
I’m also lost on how they won’t just give us the hair as seen in the lil preview like if ya gon have some new hairs ya might as well also release dem but no dats most likely gon take about 3 more weeks I bet
I just still find it weird the body features are in the clothing section. It’s so tedious and requires excessive coding for authors who want to let there readers choose if they want freckles, tattoos etc. Not to mention how tedious it is to make the individual outfits as well.
I don’t know how their system works but it’d be nice if they added like a “features” catergory in the CC section like how they have face, eyes etc.
Yes, I find that a bit annoying too. I’m assuming that there’s a reason behind it, but it’s going to be a lot of coding (and outfits) for authors that want to include those options for their readers. (And if you don’t include it, just wait for the “Why can’t I add freckles???”)
You guys, I think everyone had a lot to say, and hopefully Episode got the message, even though some people exaggerated a little, let’s just make sure this thread doesn’t get closed again.
I know the drama won’t stop here and even though I am too very disappointed with this update, if you continue ranting too much this will be closed. If it is from now on, don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.
I’m not saying anything because it will just be regurgitating what everyone has already said…I’m sure episode has understood our concerns and will hopefully take them into consideration, that’s the only way i will continue using their product
I hope they have, but the thing is… We don’t know that because they don’t talk to us. We can’t even be sure if someone is reading our complaints, and that is a problem that’s existed for a long time now.
This is why we should continue to voice our opinions (in a respectful and mature manner) this is what forums are for, hopefully they can at least address the community sometimes
