Love the update, but yes a little disappointed that this is all we got after 2 weeks.
I feel as though they should put the male ink tattoo for male limelight.
The skulls and roses look a little too feminine for males. (thats just me)

It’s just capitalism at work. Not to get too political, but making people happy that they get anything is remarkably unhealthy when they’re paying for a product or service. It happens in more than just Episode

Ah yes, because it is completely reasonable to be exploited by a company and not hold them accountable for their behaviour. I mean, we’re just lucky they included black people in the app in the first place.

You’re taking the paying statement too literal.
We don’t physically pay them but we provide their app revenue and traffic. For every person that sees an ad or downloads an app, episode is paid for that said person.
If we didn’t exist or if our number dwindled then they would receive less or no money/revenue.
It’s our user stories that attracts more people on the app and when they read our created story they see an ad that episode gets paid for.

I just want to remind you that all of the writers who haven’t qualified for writers’ payments are giving Episode free money.
Just think about that when you claim we don’t deserve the updates to help us give them their free money.

To be honest, I’m not surprised there’s complaints as it’s the same people who always complain about everything 
The fact you guys can’t be grateful for any update at all begs more the question, why are you even using Episode if you spend more time complaining about any small thing they do than just saying a simple thank you? Be polite instead of so incredibly rude with your wordings, it’s unnecessary.
If you think it’s so easy to do, make your own company and do it yourself 
Then maybe you’ll realise that how much work they actually do.
You’ve spent over the last hour clogging a thread with your bad attitudes that others who actually enjoy this update, small or not, are too worried to show their appreciation without being badgered by you. Create your own separate thread and complain. Stop sucking the fun out of this for everyone else as quite frankly, it’s unfair.
One more thing, comparing their animated work to drawings is a little far fetched too, don’t you think? Last time I checked, Episode’s avatars move, change animations, change outfits, change appearance and much more - simple digital artwork can’t do that so why make an implausible comparison? Also, games don’t take a month to make, they take years - at least decent games, with decent graphics and decent options do.
Move on already, geez.
