The only pointless thing I see is trying to teach others stop getting defensive over someone not liking something but that clearly isn’t working.
I wasn’t defensive though. I was more defensive about myself because of what I thought people were insinuating about me.

Hello I’m the person who said the hapless thing nice to meet you.
It wasn’t directed at any one person in particular but the wall of positive praise even the horrible updates get. I don’t think it’s productive, in fact i think its the opposite and i don’t want episode to stagnate personally.
I was nothing but civil to ms Zelda in my critique on capitalist economy and how it affects episode users.

Personally I think it’s a bad attitude to have in general. And it’s not even just you who says it. There’s always people who come on these threads and tell anyone who’s less than happy that they need to be grateful. As I said, I have nothing against your opinion and you have the right to defend the update if you want to. I’ve never said anything to the contrary.

Of course it does. I have nothing against Zelda and I understand that she has apologised. Does it make what we said any less valid? Of course not. I’ll defend what I said, especially because it’s not only her who says stuff like that. The grateful argument in general needs to be nipped in the bud
