I can’t seem to find it on the portal… I only see dark black. Yeah it does lack detail but it’s closer to the hair color a lot of people out there have. Dark black has a lot of white shading that makes it appear like a light black. My hair is way darker than the dark black color we have, which is shown on the MC next to Jada in the first picture.

I don’t think they’re off-limits since they let the writer of Instant Princess use them, and we don’t have to pay gems to access them. I like both, but the one on the left I need yesterday.

Depending on the hairstyle tho, you can actually see the detail. I tried the dark black vs the true dark back on every hairstyle in the Instant Princess CC template, and the details are visible. Some hairstyles it was easier to see than others. It’s also just easier to see when the character is in zoom as well.

Those are two different shades of black. The one in the last two pics is on the LL portal: the empty pit of nothing, as @line123462 called it, is the silhouette color. It tends not to be in most CC templates because it just sort of looks like someone cut the hair out to expose a black void underneath. The one where you can sort of still see the details of the hair (in the 2nd-4th pics) is an ink color. It’s not in the portal, but you can still use it in LL with codes. The color name is just “Black.”

Oh, the second one is very cute!
I wish we had the bouffant wavy hairstyle with straight hair and ponytails with strands (something covering their foreheads). I’d like to see that. And actually I miss a real medium length for straight hair. The ‘medium’ is too short and the long hair is too long. There should be something in between, like shoulder blade length.
And I know this is the wrong thread, I just don’t know where to put it.

Wait, if there’s the black color from INK, is it possible that the pop pink also exists? I have seen a color in LL that resembles it, but I can’t find it anywhere in the portal. This is what it looks like:
