Hello everyone, hoping to pick up on some good shows, new or old.
For my my favorites would have to be, Blood+, Inuyasha, Naruto, Castlevania, evangelion, One Piece, Hellsing, Dragon ball, I could probably think of a few more.
But I wanna know what are some good ones to check out, they I may not have heard of.
Dragon Ball is a classic for me, Dragon Ball GT was not as good as others but still.
Akatsuki no Yona, the character growth in this anime is amazing.
Seven Deadly Sins.
Another with amazing character development is Skip Beat, imo.
I will stop here because I have so many anime and mangá to catch up with
I think both are pretty awesome, and I’d recommend them. I’ve also enjoyed the little bit of ‘Bleach’ and ‘Naruto’ that I’ve seen as well. Hopefully this helped and you find some good quality shows to watch!
Edit: I apologize @inkkee, I didn’t mean to reply directly to you lol.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (I love how it embraces flamboyant masculinity and breaks a lot of macho men stereotypes that you see in regular media. Despite it being memed into oblivion by the anime community, it actually has a lot of heart put into it.)
Naruto (The characters are written SO WELL ! A lot of people say that Naruto is written like every other “anime protagonist,” but to me, he’s a lot more than that. And contrary to popular belief, Sakura is actually one of the best female characters in the early 2000s.)
Osomatsu-San (This is definitely one of the funniest shows that I’ve ever come into contact with. If you love witty, unapologetic humor, you’ll love this one too!)
Dragon Ball Z (How can you just not love the heroism of Goku and all of his friends? It’s such a classic!)
I used to watch anime soo much in middle school, and I haven’t really since then but my ALL TIME favorites that I rewatch sometimes are:
Death Parade: “The Quindecim Bar hosts games between the recently deceased that determine the fate of their souls.” - The summary from Google. I loved this one. I think it’s shorter, but it’s so good! I’m really sensitive so it was definitely a tear jerker for me too.
Danganronpa: The Animation: “Makoto Naegi and 14 other students from different schools are accepted into the elite Hope’s Peak High School, but the school turns out to be an elaborate trap designed to entice the students to m*rder one another.” (censored a word because I’m not familiar with the flagging system, and I don’t want this to get taken down ) - Again, the summary from Google. This one was WILD, there’s a lot of twists and had me on the edge of my seat. My friend that doesn’t even like anime watched this one with me and loved it.
But yeah, these are more on the “psychological” side but aren’t scary or anything
