I know where you’re coming from. The friendlessness is romanticized, but honestly it’s a fucking problem that stems from social anxiety. It’s not cute and people need to be aware of that. I’m not saying it’s not okay to have a small group of friends because personally I get overwhelmed when multiple people are trying to get my attention. I get some people are lazy like me and don’t want to write a bunch of characters as friends of MC and just the main friends that spend time with. I’m not going to lie I have have main friends and regular friends, but only one best friend.

AMEN SISTER AMEN. As someone who is black with a lot of friends who are Indian and Muslim they’re super underrated and underappreciated. Like my best friend is Muslim, but has a lighter skin tone so people assume she’s white and she doesn’t wear a hijab all the time. A few days ago she contacted me crying because she wore her hijab out of the house minding her own damn business and some grown ass person called her a fucking terrorist. She’s 15 years old and in the 10th grade and someone really had the nerve to do that. Now she swears she’ll never wear it again because she worried for her safety because if some adult will go out of their way to call a child a terrorist just because they’re expressing their culture which isn’t harmful to anyone in anyway. It’s so amazing how undercover racist people are today it just amazes me.

Number 18 I’m sick and tired of this one. Like the Complicated story in the episodes I could stomach the love interest constantly mocked and insulted her and overall the MC in the story was also cringe because she stole a dress from her best friend’s mom and got popular for night and the idiot love interest was a golden boy and overall extremely unlikable. I honestly hate the Chain Reaction and It’s Just An Illusion series. Trey Bailey is literally cancer and the girl Callie is a weak, little bitch. He would to have sex with her, then dispose of her in most mafia/gang stories, but was ‘drawn’ to her for some reason. And not to mention the majority if not all the main characters in the story are white. It’s Just An Illusion is cancerous also. This guy, Jonas is a fuckup (and not to mention ugly) and gets his company taken away for dating a model and he fired the leading lady, Sierra for sleeping in his bed when she was supposed to be cleaning his apartment (she proceeded to act like she did nothing wrong). She gets her and her friend fired so she goes to give him a piece of her mind (how she found him despite not knowing his name or where he worked is mystery, but this is episode and we don’t care if the storyline is shit as long as the relationship is nice and abusive). He lies and says she was his fiancee. He then proceed to go to her house and break in, he insults where she lives because she’s nice and poor like the little shit Callie. He says she’ll be his fiancee for 1 million dollars because LOGIC. She says no and tells him to leave her house before she calls the cops. He then proceeds to threaten her with jail time and says he’ll tell the police she stole something from his apartment despite her not doing anything except sleeping in his bed. He uses his money to pull his weight over her because they’ll believe him over her so he forces her to agree. Cut in the with the bestie now who says it’s a good idea proving them to be the stereotypical bad friend in Episode stories even though he’s blackmailing her with the threat of jail time for a crime she didn’t commit and don’'t worry the bestie tries to convince Sierra it’s a good thing despite being blackmailed by that steaming bag of shit. And don’t worry the Ugly Jonas is a murderer for hire also and is also the cousin of one of the shitbags from Chain Reaction.

I guess that’s an issue of mine, haha, for some reason characters have darker skin tones when they’re white?? Yeah, ‘white people’ can have darker skin, but there’s only so far one can tan before it’s a health hazard…

The MC’s name is Beccalynn and she’s the daughter of the ultimate queen and king of the vampires and the werewolves (she’s also a quarter mermaid). She’s in an arranged marriage with Axel but is also in love with her boyfriend’s best friend, Brock. There is no longer a love triangle, but a love rectangle. She ends up getting pregnant with triplets with three different fathers. All along she was 15 years old. That’s my summary of Episode cliches.

I feel like the only stories that aren’t cliques are treasures that are hidden so well, my favourite type of stories are the ones that are super popular, which is bad because I’m not giving other authors a chance, my favourite story so far is Fine Line/Blurred Lines, they’re made so well but are sooo popular that it’s definite that someone’s gonna copy that story because it’s gone sooo well, I’m not saying FL/BL are cliques but they’re the few of stories I want to spend time on reading instead of a good girl chasing a bad boy and they get all cute at the end…

Honestly, I do not want to see any story that doesn’t have a good plot. What I mean by good plot is, a story that writer gave some real effort. I can not see it in current episode stories. They are all the same. They are lame. Furthermore, they are irritating, I am sorry. They are all about the same thing. They are not stories, if I would take them as stories, then I would disrespect Kim B.’s beautiful works, because we call those stories as well. And these irritating works are with no plot. How can you name a work as “story” if that work has no plot, moreover if you can customise the character? It would have no depth. The character should have some depth, for you to enjoy the story to the full. All I can see is bad boy treating girl awful, girl admiring bad boy, mistakenly confuse this admiration with falling in love. It is not “Fifty Shades of Grey”. I despised Fifty Shades of Grey so much, and I find stories Fifty Shades of Grey-wanna-be hilarious. It is inhumane. I can only call this treatment inhumane.

I don’t understand the liking towards Callie, she seems like a weakling for a main character that has nothing left in her life. Oh, and let’s not get so worked up with the shipping between her and the asshole trey. I don’t see the relationships appealing but masked with affections and love. Firstly they argue for like what 5 - 10 minutes and resolve their problems and make up to having sex with each other. This is a portrayal of an abusive relationships. Is it just me or is Callie Faye a bit of a gold digger since she is poor and their is no backstory as to how she grew up in america and how she met her ex boyfriend??? I guess that their love is Just an Illusion.
No tea and no shade to the author but this is just my honest opinion about the story.

I don’t understand how the black loud sassy friend became such a clique, obviously a bad clique, Idk but in school we were annotating a source from the civil rights movement in america, there was this news paper drawing “the more blacks there are, the louder it will get” -obviously written by a white american newspaper, i feel like the authors that have the “black sassy loud friend” just want some multi-cultural people and no diversity , they’re just there to make the story look good
