I read this a while ago so I don’t quite remember all the details but the ones I’m about to mention, also… SPOILERS
The story is about a girl in a big city (I think New York) and the main character’s mom is still alive, as is the mother in law and the father of the love interest is mentioned until halfway into the story and he’s a criminal and gets killed in a warehouse? The girl is pregnant by the end lol.
