I have planned for this to be a mafia, dark romance story, but I want you to tell me what you like and don’t like about these kind of stories! I want to try make my story as likeable as possible so some feedback would be highly appreciated.

I think for me I don’t really like Mafia stories cuz they’re all you know not realistic so I think if you Made it as realistic as possible but not a documentary it would be Really interesting and I would read it.

I’m not a big fan of mafia stories, I have read a few, they were okay, but they kinda took over now and I think that mafia theme is overused. There are plenty of ideas that could be new and unique and interesting to see in a story. A lot of people are into mafia stories and making them, but I also see a lot of people being tired of them.
So if your goal is to please everyone, that is not enirely possible. You just have to do what makes you happy, to write your story how you envisioned it and to write for yourself!

Obviously since I’ve already had my cover made it portrays a dark romance, in my eyes, which I’d still like to coordinate into the story. You can still write a mafia story, just make it your own, make it different, make it you.

Well in those kinds of stories, they make the male mc an asshole, and it could be interesting if the male mc could show maturity and calmness. Also, the female mc is usually very passive, I would like to see more badass female mc. I don’t tell you that they have to be G force-like but just more confident and don’t let anyone abuse her in any way.

I agree with @Augen I also think for Mafia stories the male MC is too mean, i’d prefer a smart, calm, always knows what’s going on and how to fix situation kind of guy and females are too passive. I like stories that give me the freedom to make my choices even if it branches and the story has multiple endings, but it’s satisfying when i get to make a choice that impacts and doesn’t just ignore my choice and continue as if nothing happened lol
when i was little I always wanted to date the God Father LOL because in the movies they’d mow down anyone who disrespected their woman, or disrespect in general. It’d also be really good if the main focus of the story wasn’t just like their romance, like it’d be nice if the female MC has her own goal or problem she’s pursuing and the Mafia guy either helps her or her interests align with his or something, not just simping each other, does that make sense?

With the impact choices, I will have to do some more looking into those since I’m not too familiar with coding them and coding all around so I will watch some tutorials!
