I prefer ONLY one love interest. Mc gets a chance to bond really well with one love interest and I feel it results in good character development. Whereas when it’s two, it feels spilt and the whole romance aspect becomes a joke to me(I’m a serious reader)
Also 90% of authors are very unfair when it comes to 2li as they always push their favourite so why not just write one?
