Love Interest:poll

I prefer 1. Cause then i’d have to pick and choose about who the better love interest is and I’d rather not

With one LI we get o see the relationship develop but with two it is hard for it to develop because the relationship with the other LI has to develop to.

its understandable though, its tiring going back and forth with two people

Exactly. But if I really enjoy reading your story… there might be an exception. :sob: but other times I prefer one

Alright

Honestly, it depends.

In some stories, two love interests would spice up things because you would have people fighting over you and other plot-worthy things. Sadly, it would be unfair that you have to pick between the two eventually because they are both amazing, and have great personality traits.

However, I think one LI stories are just as nice!! It makes the plot simple, and then we can really see the character development between the two.

I have no preference, but I chose “two LIs” in the poll lol.

I prefer ONLY one love interest. Mc gets a chance to bond really well with one love interest and I feel it results in good character development. Whereas when it’s two, it feels spilt and the whole romance aspect becomes a joke to me(I’m a serious reader)
Also 90% of authors are very unfair when it comes to 2li as they always push their favourite so why not just write one? :woman_facepalming:t2:

I get it sometimes its just so good to have them fight for you.

Yeah, sometimes you feel like a LI is being pushed on you.

It happens in most of the stories with 2 or more li and it makes me wonder, why not just do it with one if in the end you had to push him on me. Sometime they show the other li as a bad character too

Generally, I would’ve said one love interest but I switched to two since the second love interest in my opinion is the better one and you get the option to choose.

Yeah the first LI you meet in the story is the one that is most likely to be pushed than the other.

Yeah you mostly meet him or her after the first one did something hurtful.
