Forgive me if this isn’t in the right section.
So I previously asked in relation to song lyrics and you can only use 5 lines or something in the episode I was told.
What is the rules on using one line and then making up the rest or essentially using 5 lines and changing it all up so its not the song that is being used from can it be more than 5 lines then?
I’d say if it’s changed so much to the point where people would struggle to recognize it or wouldn’t be able to tell what song was the original, you could probably use more than 5 lines.

I’d say definitely! Because you’re not breaking the rule of no more than 5 lines from an existing/official song. You can write as many lines of your own made-up lyrics as want since you’re not breaching any copyrights.
