Cool… thanks

When you type the background name, just type "with effect RAIN or HARD RAIN

Ex.) INT. ICE BATH BATHROOM - NIGHT with effect RAIN

Is this solved?
If it’s not, that’s how you do it:
(BACKGROUND YOU CHOSE) with effect LIGHT (or) HARD RAIN
If you choose “LIGHT RAIN” it won’t rain as much as when you choose “HARD RAIN”!
Hope I helped! If I did I would appreciate if you marked my message as “solved”!

As people have mentioned above and ill just add that you can’t make it rain mid-scene. You have to start a new scene, so position all the people again, etc.

Thanks…how do I stop the rain then ?

Thanks

You need to type the same background again but without the “with effect LIGHT/HARD RAIN” and if you have characters in the scene you have to position them again (you just have to copy link where you put them before)!
Hope I helped

Give me an example, so I would understand,
Should it be background without rain or what

Okay example (this is the whole scene with raining and stopping it!):

Click to view example!

(BACKGROUND) with effect LIGHT/HARD RAIN
@(YOUR CHARACTER) spot (x, y, z) in zone (1, 2, 3,…) and (YOUR CHARACTER) faces (left, right)
@pause for a beat
(THE SAME BACKGROUND)
(just copy paste) @(YOUR CHARACTER) spot (x, y, z) in zone (1, 2, 3,…) and (YOUR CHARACTER) faces (left, right)
@pause for a beat

Hope I helped!
