This is just one example of characteristics that I really enjoy. Personally I’d say avoid the whole generic thing where every boy has the button nose and light skin and the same hair, you know what I mean? On the other hand I think those characters are what people generally prefer hehe, but yeah if you want more diversity in your story try to avoid the cliches when creating you’re chracters - both regarding appearance and personality. Honestly, if you don’t know which audience your reaching out to and don’t know how they prefer their characters then just let the reader customize their love interests.
