I think there are two kinds of romantic love, and sadly a lot of misconceptions…
I would define love as a friendship plus sex. This shows that you need time to work on it.
As for the idea of a true or perfect love where we totally add up to each other, this would be a soulmate plus sex. However, finding a soulmate is rare and difficult, as is true love.

love, at first sight, does only exist in movies. in reality, the people who have love of first sight is the stalker you fear. you don’t look at someone and know. yes, this is the one. love is something you create. if the reason you love a person is how they look. and not how they are then i fell very sorry for you
