Here’s an example of one of my character edits. So, that you get an idea of how it’ll look in the end:

We’ll be using this picture for the lesson:

Thanks for typing simple editing!

Step 1:
First add a new layer.
Go to the eyedropper and get the skin color of the girl.

Then use a lighter color and make triangles under her eyes with the dip pen soft brush

Go to filters then to Gaussian Blur and blur the triangles until it looks how you like it.

Step 2:
Again add a new layer, go to eyedropper and use her skin color. But this time use a darker color and make strokes under the triangles. Then go to Gaussian Blur and blur it until you think it looks okay.

Wait did we have to create a new layer for eyes?

No, no need to create a new layer
Step 5:
Use again the eyedropper, get her eye color and use a darker color. Then use the airbrush to surround the eyes. It should look like this:

Then use the white color and make a little circle in her eye:

It won’t let me add the white circle

@_Nasia
Just use the dip pen soft brush and make a point in her eyes. That should work.
Step 6:
Use a skin color darker than her skin color, use the airbrush and shade her front and her chin:

Wait her whole face?

No, not her entire face just underneath her hair.
Step 7:
Use the eyedropper to get the color of the nose:

Change the brush to a lower opacity and make a stroke from her nose upwards. Like this:

What brush?

Dip pen soft brush

Opacity number?

67

Step 8:
Shade next to her nose, but only a little. To make it look like it’s the nose’s shadow:

Then go to the lips, use the eyedropper to get the color and use a darker color with the airbrush to shade around the lips. So, that it looks like this:

Step 9:
We’re finished with the face now. Now go to Stabilizer, go to 2, and turn on the force fade.
Then use the dip pen soft brush and surround the face. Like this:

Just paint over the normal black surroundings and do the same with the hair, the arms and other stuff that has black strokes:

Even the lines in the hair?
