Here are the details that will be assessed in the written reviews.
How We Review || Details
|| FIRST IMPRESSIONS ||
First impressions are what I think of when I first see your story and the introduction.
~ Description, cover art, title, accessibility and introduction.
|| DIRECTING ||
Directing is a rather large section so I will break it down into parts.
~ Dialogue and animations
~ Camera Movements (Zooms, pans, transitions, filters etc.)
~ Overlays, layering etc.
|| GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION ||
Grammar and punctuation is simply if your English was written neatly as well as other tidbits.
~ Basic grammar, English, wording, punctuation.
|| VISUALS AND SOUNDS ||
Visuals and sounds are mainly in the section of aesthetics and suitability.
~ Backgrounds, splashes, overlays, sounds, music, cover art.
|| PLOT ||
The plot is the flow of the story, the pacing, individual chapters, characters, cliches etc.
|| ERRORS ||
This will just go over some of the bigger errors in your story as well as anything else that I might find important. It may include grammar, directing among other things.
|| OVERALL THOUGHTS + TIPS TO IMPROVE ||
My thoughts on the story summed up in a paragraph as well as a straight forward statement about which things you can improve on.
The descriptions of each category may vary from story to story and we might also add some more things to the actual review. The reviews may vary in length.
