MC opinion and advice

Hi! So, I just wanted some opinions on what to do with my cc in my story. So, my character is what a lot of people would consider to be basic but I think she’s really cute. I did give cc in my story but I limited eye color, hair color and skin color because of a few reasons:

I may add art scenes.
I use arm overlays a lot .
I describe looks.
My character is supposed to be Russian, which is a pretty talked about part of the story.
I don’t have time to make other arm overlays because I have this weird vampire sleep thing where I go to bed at like 10 AM and wake up at 6 PM (I have been to so many places and tried so many things, nothing is fixing it.), not to mention I am starting a new school soon which is gonna give me even less sleep because it is from 10 AM-3 pm.

At the same time however, I want the readers to have other options, and I don’t know what is right for me to do! I do not mind any constructive criticism as long as it isn’t just straight up rude (ex: I can’t believe you wouldn’t give the readers cc!) or irrelevant (ex: she is ugly.)

This is my character!

if you use (a lot) of arm overlays and you describe looks, you could give the reader a customisation without colours. @Dara.Amarie’s website has that kind of template. other than that, I think she is pretty cute :heart_eyes_cat:

Sounds fine to me just as long as you have a relatively diverse cast overall. :v:t2::relaxed:

bump, looking for as much feedback as possible!

Well I think she’s super cute
I like when character fits with her description (ex native russian don’t have black skin). For me limited cc are ok.
I have opposite problem: I want to give readers to CC colours without shapes (face, nose, lips, eyes)… We will see how this will work

Oh that sounds cool! Is the facial structure important?

Thanks for the feedback btw!

In my story? I don’t know how to explain it without giving details, but let’s say a certain event that causes LI will change the appearance of MC. It’s fantasy
But I don’t want to change her appearance completely, cause that will be for me surreal, so I was thinking about limited cc like only changing colours and hair, maybe brows shape…
I don’t know yet for sure

In my opinion she is a cutie and perfectly fits her character :revolving_hearts: I mostly I focus on the storyline as long as it’s good limited cc doesn’t matter and don’t worry you’re not alone with the sleeping habit nd it sucks even more when u hve school and college

Hi @Sleepy_Kuma ! As a Russian women myself, most of us have think eyebrows, dark colored hair(unless its dyed or rare) dark colored eyes, and our skin tones lean more toward peachy pale or a natural neutral and olive tan.
I agree that your character is very cute, but if you define her as “Russian” you might want to change her look a little bit!
Also most Russian women do not play an innocent role as we can be very aggressive and we know how to stand up for ourselves.

I think…
With art scenes, you can limit hair style and important features. Since you describe and use arm overlays, maybe limit the colors? Like skin tone, hair color, and eye color?

Also, she’s really cute! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thanks for the feedback! Yes I did limit the colors, I just feel bad about not giving people the option to change that but it is just pretty important and I don’t know how I could make it available.

Thank you!!!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I might remove the freckles, I feel like that doesn’t really fit. However, I do want to keep the innocent vibe (which will change over time) because she has some really bad trauma. Is her skintone not peachy pale? Sorry, I can’t really tell, should I make it more peachy or is it not pale enough?

Oh and her mom fits the more aggressive persona!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea, it really does suck, I can’t hang out with my family and I get super lonely at night, glad somebody else understands!

Thats awesome! Its a common trait and I know my grandmother and aunt used to be that way when they were alive!
also you can go a little more peachy with the skin tone if u want
