You could add a filter to the scene to make it look like a memory? Not sure if this is what you’re looking for exactly.
I already tried that, but I didn’t like how it looked like. I once saw a scene where the author added a oval white frame overlay and it looked like the scene was a thought bubble. (again, idk if I explained it well)
