No I didn’t but it sure did take longer than usual.

That’s a shame, I hope it didn’t detract from the rest of the story too much. Because I don’t know what I could take out that isn’t necessary to the story.

I’ve been in a similar situation when nobody told me it’a too long until one of my friends pointed it out. I was shocked. I measured it and it really was more than 20 min. Most of the readers wanna spend averige 10-15 on one chapter. It’s only the matter of a few minutes but i’m not gonna argue with the readers 
i do what ever they want. Cause they are the ones who read it.
So i cut some things out and moved them to the second chapter 
so nothing got lost

I know how you feel! I read through it yesterday and it took me about ten minutes. I’m thinking I might shorten some scenes where possible, because I can’t really remove anything.
