So sometimes when I preview my story on the Episode app itself the music plays for a split second then cuts off and stops playing…does anyone else have the same problem???
It works when I preview on the writers portal (I use Chrome) but when I preview using the app it doesn’t work…and all the code is correct
If you have added music like this for example:
INT. BLACK - DAY
NARRATOR
To be continued...
@pause for a beat
@pause for a beat
music ambient_birds
The music will not work for it is followed after @pause for a beat. A sound cue will only work if it is followed by dialogue or direction.
For example:
INT. BLACK - DAY
NARRATOR
To be continued...
music ambient_birds
@pause for a beat
@pause for a beat
Hopefully this resolves your problem.

Have you put a music command after dialogue or a direction?

Yup sometimes but mostly just at the start of scenes…is that a bug or something?

At the start of scenes, the music command should work, if it doesn’t, it might be a bug and you may need to submit a ticket.
If you use a sound command like this:
@pause for a beat
@pause for a beat
music ambient_birds
The music will not work for it is followed after @pause for a beat. A sound cue will only work if it is followed by dialogue or direction.
For example:
INT. BLACK - DAY
NARRATOR
To be continued...
music ambient_birds
@pause for a beat
@pause for a beat
If you have done this, and it still doesn’t work, submit a ticket to the episode team.
