My middle character is gliding! Please help!

So, I’m making a scene where 3(three) characters, walk down a hallway. But, I also, want the middle character to take a sip of their drink while walking. But she ends up gliding for some reason! (Moving without walking) (Sliding down the hallway) Can someone help me?

It’s not illegal to reuse characters (as in looks and names), however it is plagiarism if they follow the same plot line. So you can include Maddie as long as this story doesn’t have the same plot as Every Witch Way.

No, no fanfics are allowed either.

Just change the plot. Change the names to something else, maybe. You should be good to go. Most stories have inspiration from books, shows, and movies.
