Hey whoever comes across this…I’m Jasmine. Lately, I’ve been feeling like episode has been getting soo dead, like without you is finished and a LOT of authors have discontinued their stories or are just inactive. I feel like what Episode needs right now is another banginggg story. So I’m planning on writing a story and i would just like a little recognition on this platform, also i will be doing read for reads when my story comes out.
heres a little but not final description of my story:
TITLE: THE PAYNE PACKAGE
She’s a confident hard-working girl, originally from the streets of New York, aspiring to be a world-famous superstar. I know what your thinking, how the hell is that going to happen? Royal Oak Academy. That’s your answer. The most prestigious performing arts and sports school in the world. A bunch of pompous rich kids go to Royal Oak but her pretty privilege and magnetic personality helps her survive in this school, climb the popularity hierarchy and find a handful of amazing friends but does it also attract the schools bad boy and was he also your ticket to the Payne Package
***Also I kind of want to call it comedy but haven’t gained the confidence to cos what if you lot don’t find it funny.

Hi Jasmine! I’m Isabelle. Congrats on writing your story! It’s quite hard to give recognition to someone who hasn’t published a story yet but I’m sure your friends here or friends you make will help build your support. The forums is great with supporting new authors.
You story seems very interesting. Just some advice: don’t rush the storyline, make sure there is chemistry between the MC and the LI and try to avoid romanticizing toxic relationships. Also, even if your first language is English, it’s always best to have proofreaders. Try to find good ones or use grammarly/grammar websites to help you.
It’s up to you on how you want to release your episodes. If you have a lot of free time on your hands, you could release 3 episodes first and then update when you want. If you don’t have a lot of time, I would have a batch of episodes ready beforehand so you can have time to write.

Also, in my story I will definitely not be romanticising toxic relationships and I hate HATE when characters fall in love way too quick - in my story I will make sure there is a build up and a lot of chemistry. What I mean is, we won’t be seeing a first kiss in episode 3, let’s just say that!

Hi, this sounds very interesting to read. Just curious is this going to be in INK OR LL? And to get recognized for your stories maybe do like R4R? And like if people do agree they wanna do R4R with you, make them send screenshots that they actually read your story, so your not just reading theirs and they aren’t doing the same. And like on Instagram theres some accounts that also do R4R and they post it on their ig on what you should improve on what they like etc. Oh and like when u do ur characters make sure that they’re unique and they are not the SAME.
