My won't the car overlay shift?

I want the car overlay to move, but it’s not shifting. I’m not sure what’s wrong.

Shift:
&overlay 6686803209093120_EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY shifts to 169 131 in zone 1 in 2 using easein

Placement before shift:
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY create
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY opacity 1
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY shifts to 325 130 in zone 1
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY scales to 0.676 0.676
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY moves to layer 4

Use this, works for me

&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY create
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY opacity 1
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY shifts to 325 130 in zone 1
&overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY scales to 0.676 0.676
@overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY moves to layer 4

@overlay EXT. LUXURY CAR RED PROFILE - DAY shifts to 169 131 in zone 1 in 2 using easein

(also might I suggest using easeinout rather than easein, it looks a lot smoother!)

Yeah, that’s what I’m getting at, &s need to be followed by another command.

Also remove the word “moves” if you’re having layering issues.

“to”, “moves to”, and “shifts to” all work for the overlay layer command

no problem!

Sometimes it throws up an error if I use “moves to”, so just putting it out there. :relieved:

You shouldn’t get an error with either of these 3 versions for the layer command. I’ve never gotten an error and I’ve never seen anyone else get an error using ‘moves to’. So whatever error you’re getting is for some other issue with your coding.
