Mythical creature

I’m writing a story where the protagonist is a mythical creature. I thought of the phoenix, but there are many stories with a phoenix. Does anyone know any other mythical creature as legendary as the phoenix? (Dragons won’t do)

Well, you want to choose something that’s going to be possible to create with the current assets in Episode. Creatures with some human resemblance?

  • Sirens (Mermaids, except they sing enchanted songs and lure sailors to them so they can drown the poor men)
  • Centaur (human torso, bottom half horse)
  • Faun (human torso, bottom half goat. This would be fairly easy to recreate as you can just make a bare chested person with brown trousers or something of the sort)
  • Medusa, a lady with snake hair. If you’re going to use Medusa though, and plan to use some sort of dreadlock hairstyle to replicate the snakes, be careful as people with that kind of hair may get offended. Maybe ask around to see if that’d be appropriate).
  • A fairy/faerie, this would be easy to replicate as there are fairy wings in both INK and LimeLight (I think).
  • Vampire, this would be a great way to use the new vampire update in LL!
  • Elf
  • Dwarf
  • Leprechaun?
  • Ghosts
  • Werewolves (kinda?)
  • Ogre/troll?
  • Minotaur
  • Demon/devil

Ones without human resemblance that I know of:

  • Pegasus (plural is Pegasi btw)
  • Griffin
  • Hydra
  • Unicorn :unicorn:
  • Loch Ness Monster?
  • I have a headache so can’t think of anymore lol. If I think of more, I’ll edit the post and tag you.

Here are some pretty…unknown ones (except for a few maybe)

Jorōgumo (Japanese mythology) – a ghost woman who shapeshifts into a spider
Kitsune (Japanese mythology) - a nine-tailed fox
Hydra (Greek mythology) - a many-headed serpent
Adze (African mythology) - a vampire that transforms into a firefly, biting people in their sleep and killing them
Black Dog (English mythology) - Omen of death, associated with electrical storms, crossroads and sites of execution
Gargoyle (English mythology) - Brooding creatures that are supposed to scare evil spirits away
Black Annis (English mythology) - Pale blue witch with iron talons and a taste for humans, especially children

Thank you guys so much, but I’ve decided to go with a dragon-phoenix hybrid. Just need name for it hahah
