It’s not working either way. I just tried Both back and forth.
Like before, I think its because I scripted YOU and entered the appearance name as FIRSTNAME
I thought it would show either YOU or the name that you’ve entered.
Oh yes, change the display name to YOU.
But you need to display it like the in order for the type in name to appear
{FIRSTNAME}
But since you want the narrator bubble to appear in need to be like this
NARRATOR (NAME)
But you can’t put it like this
NARRATOR (FIRSTNAME)
NARRATOR ({FIRSTNAME})
It will either display “FISTNAME” or give an error

If the script name and display name is the same, and you’ll give an option to customise it, it will appear everywhere as a chosen name
Is not possible to do that, it was just display “FIRSTNAME” and will not appear the name you let the reader type in
I didn’t originally have that.
So, I might aswell create a blank character with the display name YOU? It was too late…
What you’re saying it it should’ve been FIRSTNAME for BOTH Script and Display name.
Yes, if you want the chosen name to appear everywhere. (like in the narrator speech bubble)

You don’t have to create a new character. You just have to put the choice of choosing the name before the character starts talking. And you would put as display name (FIRSTNAME)
