Hey! I just added two scripts for clothes and hair… but they say the labels don’t exist… not sure how to fix this I also want to find out how to make my characters use animations while talking?

Read this:

"No labels exist"
If you are getting warning messages saying that NO LABELS EXIST, then that means you put the template inside of a choice or if/elif/else code. Templates have labels and labels cannot be inside of brackets. You will need to place the template outside of the choice, then put a goto inside the choice that leads to the first label of the template. HERE is an example of how to do that.

And for this:

I also want to find out how to make my characters use animations while talking?

It would be:

CHAR (animation)
Bla bla bla…

Of course you’d replace CHAR with your character’s name, animation with a talking animation that exists and Bla bla bla… with dialogue.

Example:

EMMA (talk_neutral)
I love cupcakes.

One more thing!
I’d recommend going over the Episode guides and checking out Joseph Evans’ tutorials on YouTube so you get a better grasp of directing and remember to practice! Also, feel free to ask questions on the Forums. Good luck ^^

Hey, I need help. I have a scene with three choices. If I pick choice 1 or 2, it will play the dialouge for that scene, but then it will begin the dialoge for choice three. What am I doing wrong??

never mind, I fixed it. i had

}

and then all the dialouge after would be played no matter what choice

I need to add multiple overlays, but I can’t find anywhere how to do it. I tried to do INT. BLACK - NIGHT with THE OVERLAY AND OTHER OVERLAY, but it didn’t work. Can you please help me?

Read this:

A Guide to Using & Animating OVERLAYS

MULTIPLE Overlays in 1 Scene:

1. All you need to do is keep adding “with OVERLAYNAME” next to the background name after every overlay.

INT. BACKGROUND NAME - DAY with OVERLAYNAME with OVERLAYNAME with OVERLAYNAME
or
INT. BACKGROUND NAME - DAY with OVERLAYNAME in zone # with OVERLAYNAME to % x y in zone # with OVERLAYNAME at layer #

2. Or you can keep using the create command over and over again.

@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME create
@overlay OVERLAYNAME create

Remember that you must add the shifts, scales, and opacity commands for all overlays when using the create command.

Is there a way to change some ones hair for one part only?

@YOU changes hair into Hair Style

That’s all ^^

You can change the hair style back by writing that command again in your script but replacing Hair Style with one that exists.
