Need help with background INT. COURTROOM WIDE - DAY

Hi!

i have some problems with using “INT. COURTROOM WIDE - DAY”, because of the overlay.

in zone 3 at the end of the jury part, its a overlay, but how do I get the character in front of it?

Basically you have to say INT.COURTROOM WIDE-DAY with INT.COURTROOM WIDE-DAY at the start of the scene. Then once that’s done you can use the spot directing to move the overlay in the preview.

I had the same problem with a different background so I hope this helps.

@CHAR spot x y in zone #?

Ya basically. If you move it in the preview it’s like the thing that you can copy underneath then just add that to your script and you should be sorted.

I would recomand to set the layer for the overlay and the character so you have control where it is

example:

INT.COURTROOM WIDE-DAY with INT.COURTROOM WIDE-DAY at layer 5
&CHAR stands screen center
@CHAR movest to layer 6
