I’m looking for guides towards coding a scene- Two people are doing a live session on IG and people are commenting there, I mean what we see during IG lives I’m trying to replicate that. I’m not sure if that’s possible but I’ve seen people doing similar things with YouTube videos and comments. Thank you.

So you’ll want to create overlays for everything. Depending on detail you want to include (such as comments, hearts, etc.), you’ll need an overlay for it all. The main part is the split screen. You’ll want to use a background to create one half of the scene, then another for the other half. You’d then need an overlay to go on top of each of those (i.e. a phone screen outline). If you’re wanting the other features, you’d need overlays for those as well. Make sure the bottom overlay is at least 1 layer above the top character so that the character’s legs cannot be seen. You’ll then want to spot the characters in the right layers + spots to appear on top of each other. It includes a bunch of strategically placed layers + overlays.

It’s possible. I have something similar that I coded in chapter 1 of my story. You just need overlays for all the comments. You can either make them in a program like photoshop or you can use episode’s default “create text” overlay code.
