Need help with coding background

Hi, I need help with coding :frowning:
I placed all my background characters for the scene not to feel empty, the problem is that I think there’s something wrong with my coding, cause the scene just feels slow, the narration comes seconds after and my character walks secinds later after the dialogue. Please help to make it less slower.

Can you post a pic of your script?
Do you set pauses at any time?
It could be that theres too many characters so ots a little slow

It’s possible that you used the “is” command when directing background characters along with the @ symbol for directing them. Those two combined means the script will wait for them to complete a cycle of the animation (usually a second or two, depending the animation), then it will move on. As seen from the animations shown at the bottom left, it’s apparent that at least two other background characters are being directed (ZBCK01 and DYLAN).
