Hello dear Episodians,
I need a little help with a scene where two people are kissing very passionately. I saw many authors doing this, where it seems like one character just dragged or pushed another character against a wall or something, the camera shakes and also a sound like someone hit themselves with something hard. So, I’m in need of that sound name as well as how to direct this scene. I hope whatever I said makes sense to someone. Thank you.

I hope that gives the general idea of the shake.^
You could also use ampersand followed by a number of zooms on the one line so it shakes whilst the action of the characters happens:
&zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s etc etc
@CHAR1 walks to spot s x y in zone # in s AND CHAR2 walks to spot s x y in zone # in s THEN CHAR1 starts animation AND CHAR2 starts animation AND CHAR1 faces left/right AND CHAR2 faces left/right
You could also slightly delay the shake:
&pause for s THEN zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s etc etc
@CHAR1 walks to spot s x y in zone # in s AND CHAR2 walks to spot s x y in zone # in s THEN CHAR1 starts animation AND CHAR2 starts animation AND CHAR1 faces left/right AND CHAR2 faces left/right
Someone will explain this better but it’s exactly like zooming. You zoom slightly in the top, then slightly zoom downward, and time it so this occurs very fast.
Thank you so much, I’ll implement it.
Thank you.
No worries!
