Can I pick someone’s brain for an Italian translation?
I have a brief knowledge of the language (very basic) but I’m struggling with how to word a certain phrase

You can write it here so one of us can answer you- and you can possibly get different versions

Ahh you’re the best! Thank you so much :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Ok, so this is what I was looking for a translation for -

It’s a man saying it to himself, kind of under his breath.

‘What the f*ck.’
‘I need another drink.’

This is what I have at the moment -

There’s a good chance my translation is way off though 🤣

‘Che cazzo.’
‘Ho bisogno di un altro bicchiere.’

Thanks in advance and I’m sorry if my translation is absolutely terrible :woman_facepalming:t3:

Honestly, your translations look fine to me!

Perhaps I’d say “ma che c*zzo” (we often use the ‘ma’ particle in exclamations or sentences like this)… absolutely optional though, your phrase is also okay. But yeah, they’re good :+1:t2:

I suggest you censor it like this tho c*zzo cause it’s a swear word, even if in another language

I will, thank you. I have when I’ve used it in the past too, I get really paranoid about censoring everything :woman_facepalming:t3:

Hey! I had a question - well actually 2. Does this family look realistic for Italian people, and does there son look like them?
If so, what part of Italy do uu think they would be from? Maybe the Mom and Dad are from different places? Or maybe they’re from the same place, I honestly have no clue and didn’t just wanna say there both from a super popular spot/place in Italy.

Thank uu so much!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Summary

also, i was consedering changing the mom’s eye color from brown to white or blue:

I’d keep them brown, the majority of us has brown/dark eyes, even if obviously there’s people with lighter eye colors

so uu think i should keep the mom with brown eyes? or should i change the mom and dad to have brown eyes?

If you keep the son with light eyes, I’d keep at least one of the parents with light eyes

okay! sorry i’m asking so many questions but i just have 2 more. :slightly_smiling_face:

are redheads common in Italy? or is the son and mom being a redhead Italian not realistic?

and where do uu think that the mom and dad are from? are there certain places where uu see different skinned colored people?

In our masterpost you can already find lots of deets as to how we look on average:

So to answer your first question

It’s normal to find redheads in Italy. It’s the least diffused hair color in Italy, but you can definitely find them.

As for this question

You can find people with all skin tones (from 00 to 04) in pretty much all Italy with no distinction. I’d say it’s just a bit more common to find the darker tones in the south and the islands (Sicily and Sardinia) than it is in the north and center. But as I said, you can totally find darker people there as well.

The dad just has that southerner look more than the mom does, so you can decide based on this notion.

thank you so much! where does the mom look like shes from? i’m guessing its probably not Sicily/south since thats where the dad is from?

Np~
And the mom could be literally from anywhere in Italy haha it’s just up to you to decide
