Need help with my overlay!

My overlay isn’t showing up! and it’s kinda irritating :joy::sweat_smile:

Line 200:

@overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity 1 in 2

Maybe that’s the problem? Should there be “BLUSH 1” instead of “OVERLAYNAME”?

where it says @overlay OVERLAYNAME opacity 1 in 2 it should say @overlay BLUSH 1 opacity 1 in 2

don’t worry. it happens to the best of us :joy: I remember that I struggled to make my overlay show up because I didn’t know that they came on stage at opacity 0

shifts to x x in zone 5 in 0
Always specify the zone you’re in or it will default to zone 1 :blush:

AHHH thank you Sooo much!! but quick question, before the overlay shows up it kinda goes over the screen (and its really big) and then it shows up on her face, i can can’t take a picture of it cause its too fast but how do I fix that?

Because you have the opacity command (2 seconds) before the shift/scale. So use the & for create, shift, scale and the @ last for opacity :blush:
&overlay BLUSH 1 create
&overlay BLUSH 1 shifts to 9 340 in zone 5 in 0
&overlay BLUSH 1 scales to 0.048 0.048 in 0
@overlay BLUSH 1 opacity 1 in 2

Oh my god thank you!!

Quick question?! Can you help me with layers? I’m not really good at them, and I want a character to be in front of another character… do you think that you could help me?

Sure. Just write &CHAR1 moves to layer 0 AND CHAR2 moves to layer 1
Higher numbers mean they’ll be in front :blush:

Okay I’m gonna try it out and see if it works!!
