I think show instead of tell grabs the readers attention. So instead of writing the introduction and giving out all the details, maybe try showing it. For example if Olivia is into art, instead of saying I’m really into art, show a scene of her in art class having the time of her life and maybe mentioning to her friends how it’s the best time of the week.
