Need help with overlay and layering

Im trying to make my character ride a motorcycle but the overlay is in front of my character
here’s my script

EXT. CITY HIGHWAY LOOP - NIGHT with RED MOTORCYCLE

@overlay 5223154793054208_RED MOTORCYCLE shifts to -308 -141

@overlay 5223154793054208_RED MOTORCYCLE scales to 1.036 1.036

@VIOLET stands spot 1.280 142 75 AND VIOLET moves to layer 42 AND VIOLET is idle_sit_slouch

&overlay RED MOTORCYCLE to layer 0
&VIOLET moves to layer 1

** I believe the coding above is right. you just have to layer them. if 0 and 1 doesn’t work try 1 and 2

Remove stands in this line.
And as stated above, layer the bike too to a lower layer than Violet.
