Need help with plot and keeping the story going

I really like what I have so far but i don’t rly have a plot. What i have right now is a single king in love with a warrior and there is gonna be a ball and at the ball people break in and try to kill the king and the warrior girl protects him. PLZZZZZ HELPPPP

Maybe the king does get kidnapped and you base the story off the warrior girl getting to him or he doesnt and shes in charge of keeping him safe

My tip is to find the end goal of the story and a start and fill in from there if that makes since
