Need help with some effects

I have this fortune teller scene and i’m using @/amepisode’s background but I need some tricks or whatever to make it appear like the crystal ball lights up, anyone has any idea how to make this happen?

You can also search “magic overlays” or “light overlays” here on the forums (I don’t know what exactly is it that you are looking for).

I’m not good with overlays (like at all) but maybe you could play with the overlay’s opacity

Try messing with the opacity

For flashing try this as many time’s as you want them to do it
@overlay OVERLAY NAME opacity 1
@overlay OVERLAY NAME opacity 0
@overlay OVERLAY NAME opacity 1
@overlay OVERLAY NAME opacity 0

To make it starts lighting slowly try:
@overlay OVERLAY NAME opacity 1 in 1
