Need help with the transitions

Can you show an example of your script? I’m guessing you’re either not doing the scene set up in between the transitions, or you fade in/out is in the wrong place. Make sure you are setting up your scene like this:

INT. SCENE 1

      NARRATOR
 End scene.

@transition curtain out_top

EXT. NEXT SCENE
&CHARACTER stands screen center AND CHARACTER faces right

@transition curtain in_top
