So I’m making a female character who is gay and her mom is from Barbados while her dad is from Puerto Rico. I know things about Bajan culture but not hispanic culture what should I know. Like religion, quinces etc.
I made this post awhile ago but I found it helpful especially the comments from others. 
You can also look up the "statistics for Puerto Rico " and they’ll usually include race demographic, religion, etc. in the articles.

No problem. I think it’s great that you are trying to represent a culture correctly. My character was Italian/Dominican/Cuban mixed character and the not-so- LI was Mexican American and I really wanted to avoid the stereotypes.
