Need help with younger versions of characters!

Hello everyone!

Does anyone know how I can make younger versions of my characters in character creation? Do I need to create new characters altogether or can I tweak the ones I already have? Similarly, I don’t know how to change make-up. Is that something I do while coding?

I am new to all of this and it’s a little overwhelming, any help is much appreciated!! <3

You could simply use the previews unpreviews commands for features during the scenes you want them to look younger in.

How to:

• Go into the character creator, click each character and change out their features until you are happy with how they look as a ‘kid’ version (DO NOT SAVE THESE CHANGES! You just want their name or color name!))
• Write down or copy/paste each feature name to reference with your ‘previews/unpreviews’ commands Let’s say I want Valeria who has the Diamond Defined Contour face as an adult so her ‘teen’ version will have a regular ‘diamond’ face. Example:

CHARACTER: VALERIA LOPEZ
FEATURES CHANGED: Face: Diamond
code to add at beginning of youth scenes: @/VALERIA previews face Diamond
code to add to end of youth scenes: @/VALERIA unpreviews face Diamond
*edit added / to break the tagging system lol

– do one for any character that you will be giving a kid/teen version to. Also works great if you want a character to change a hairstyle for an event or maybe they get lip filler and their lips get a little plumper/bigger or changing lip color to simulate lipstick etc.
no matter the feature, the code is :
@CHARACTER previews feature Name/Color (to put the feature on)

@CHARACTER unpreviews feature Name/Color (to take the feature off)

No problem. I sorely wish I had known about preview/unpreviews commands… I could have saved myself so many duplicates in my first story

Dara’s site is great Definitely recommend bookmarking if you hadn’t already. I’ve been coding for awhile and still have it in mine.
