Would you consider this background to be good enough to include in an episode story?

I’m new to creating art for episode and I need the opinions of anyone familiar with episode backgrounds, whether you read episode stories, write episode stories, or draw/edit your own backgrounds.
It’s very simple, with minimal shading. Would it look out of place?

Omg yes! It looks fantastic! And if you drew all your background, it would make your story so personal with your stylistic change to it. Not saying you should do that because it would be a crazy amount of work, but I just really like your style and think it would suit a whole story tbh. tag me when the story drops

It is a very good start, and this would work in an episode story and not look out of place-
I would to encourage you to spend time making more backgrounds to improve your skill!
The only thing I would critique would be maybe adding more texture in your future backgrounds, but otherwise, it seems you really have a good understanding of drawing spatially aware rooms and your shading is very well done!

It looks good! And as said above ^^ download some texture brushes they’ll make a huge difference and the picture frame needs adjusting it’s a little too slanted for the perspective on the room. Angle it more like the bed frame and it should be okay
Thanks so much for the advice! Unfortunately downloading texture brushes is not an option for me but I will figure out a different way. Haha, that painting is the bane of my existence. I could swear I lined it up with the same vantage point, but alas it turned out like that. I’ll fix it eventually but it could take some serious re-drawing. 
this is so cute! the only critique I would have is add a watermark when posting to the forums if your intention isn’t for these backgrounds to be in an authors story without credit!

yes please used the background in episode story you have makes because that is so cutie it will makes story looks cute and match the theme perfection because you have makes it and i love the creative you have put in it and hard work and it blend so well in the background it looks like realists background i can’t lie for this is rate for 100000000000/1000000000000 can’t lie i being honest i love creative and what i see here is another level omg i love everything you do and the plant it looks like real plant can’t lie keeps on making background for your story because sometimes creator for background that creator that other makes of their own sometimes when story publish you have remove they background and sometimes background is for paid and stuff but that to much work to remove a background that being paid and stuff but please do more background i would loves to see them it so cute keeps up with the blending @Silver_Filly it on fleek
