Thank you for the ping as always. I love reading the responses.
@June_Sinclair Reading and writing is a good escape from whatever else is going on in your life. One can get so lost in a book lol
I’m sorry to hear that you’re in a mess right now, hopefully things get better for you!
Also, yes, I’m a big sucker for the Goosebumps series. I haven’t read and watched all of them, but they are definitely my favorite horror books.
@marcosimp Wow, I guess you can say Episode has been really important and quite influential for you! I think it helped me to only love reading and writing more. I’m glad it helped you find your ideal career path! that’s hard to figure out x
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It sounds sooooooo interesting!! I’m going to go check it out when it comes out :)) thanks for the suggestion!
@Ajay_theweirdo ahhh I remember reading Number The Stars!! that books was so sad. I think I read it when I was in fifth grade? I’m a sophmore now. Back then, I really used to like WW2 books, but now I don’t like WW2 anything (I think WW1 is more interesting, weird opinion but ok.) Also, I’ve just read too many books about the Holocaust. Anywaysss, that book was really good and so is the Chronicles of Narnia. My mom used to read the books to me when I was younger, I miss those days haha
@sonder.author that’s a big book collection! Don’t stop yourself (I wouldn’t, it would be too hard)
I haven’t heard of the Papalagi, what’s it about?
@episodemichi I’ve never heard of the Waterfire Saga? what’s it about? I would love to know! Rick Riordan is a great author. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Percy Jackson, but the books were really nice! Greek mythology just wasn’t my thing as a kid lmao
eeeeeekkkkkk ik its so good !!! no prob !
when i was entering it, i couldn’t see the desctiption of the book, all i could see was the cover and who it was by so i was like ‘ouu this book looks pretty’ FJNLJFSD:LFD
@blue.berrytoast Yeah, I get that. it’s hard to find books that are interesting nowadays. I always re-read all my old books since I can’t find anything new that I actually like. have you tried to ask for any suggestions from your friends or teachers? that might help!
@Amphia what a mood!!! literally. I love reading and I think it’s fun, but lately, I just haven’t read that much as I would like to be.
@nis.storiesx Afro sci-fi sounds so, so, cool!!! I want to go check Kindred out, it sounds great. And it’s really nice that you’re a book collector!
@Adina.Manez- Hahah omg, that’s so true!! stories can get so relatable at times, it’s scary lol
lmaooo that’s me all the time. literally whenever I see a book with a cool summary and cover, I always pick it up. Most of the time, I end up not even liking the first few pages haha
LMAFJK:LJ:FSK:DF
thats both of us-
I mean on very rare occasion, I will flip through the first few pages and read just to see how I like it. but not most of the time.
@Maeverie.Rivera A lot of people like the Harry Potter books. They are good indeed but I don’t get the huge hype about them?? I don’t know sorry don’t hate me for not loving Harry Potter. afjasfjdkjfaskjdfkasjfkasdjl;fj
@Darcie.Episode I LOVE MYSTERY BOOKS TOO, GIRL. lol
I saw reviews about Eight Perfect Murders and it was good. It’s been on my list for a long time!
It’s definitely worth it! And if you haven’t read it “one of us is lying” by Karen McManus is a super good YA mystery and it’s supposed to be made into a Netflix show soon!!
Hopefully everything gets back to normal and you don’t need to be sorry it’s totally fine. Even I haven’t read the whole ‘Goosebump’ series but I would like to read them all. Have fun and thank you for the weekly discussion, I really enjoy it
@June_Sinclair- Yeah, hopefully! that’s a good goal to have. thank you! And I’m glad you enjoy it. I wasn’t sure anyone was going to like seeing these every week, but it turns out people like it. It makes me happy!!
I’ve seen that too!! it’s not on my list, but I’ll go check it out. Thanks for the suggestion, I really appreciate it!! xx
@Valeriya.B Yeah, in the past few years I’ve been getting into informational books about specific things in crime, such as the mind of a serial killer etc. I have heard of Whoever Fights Monsters, however, I haven’t read it. Is it good?
It’s really cool that you’re studying forensics!! Good luck xxx
@shreya.epi lol same my mom already knows when an assignment is missing it’s because I was busy writing. I’m sorry that your motivation was killed by stress, that really sucks! I’m glad you’ve started writing again, hopefully you can continue writing :))
@pri.2112 Honestly, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the To All the Boys series but I know they are very good. Also I haven’t read them so I probably shouldn’t it be judging it like that. lol
I love reading because of the world that is created in the story you’re reading! it’s truly so amazing. I don’t know how people despise reading.
It’s a book about the European observations of a tribal chief. It describes how they see what we call civilization. It gives us a new perspective. It makes people realize how absurd it is to label and classify people.
Mermaids. It’s really good!
yes, it is cool! Some reviews say they don’t like the author’s arrogant act, but in my opinion, I haven’t seen anything arrogant in his books. Of course he sometimes “pats himself on the back” but I can understand it cause of his work. Overall I love the book and if u are into crime stuff then definitely go for it!
And thx for the luck <3
that sounds quite interesting, I’ll have to check it out. ahh I’m getting all these nice book recommendations and it’s great!! thanks for telling me about it. x
ooooooo that’s niceeee
