You did the best you could. Honestly, she sounds like a kid, so there’s not much you could have done to convince her that her way of thinking is wrong… for her to recognize that would take a level of maturity, which I don’t think she has. I’m not saying that to be mean or anything, but come on. No one would ever find someone breaking into your house “romantic” unless they were a child who doesn’t really know any better.
That’s why it’s so dangerous for Episode to be romanticizing/glorifying it, because some kids really don’t know any better.

Holding the full release to review it is not good enough because there should have been at least one person who reviewed it before it went live, and noticed what a bad message it sends and how inappropriate it would be for their readers.

@amberose Honestly, I feel the same. It’s kind of embarrassing being an author on an app that has a story like that splashed across the front page! I seriously don’t understand how this story made it onto the app in the first place. Isn’t there usually a team of people behind Episode original stories? Surely someone would have stepped back and gone “Hmmm… I think this violates guidelines.”
