So, I read all 3 episodes from In my bed, and honestly, this was one of the worst, (if not the worst) story that I have ever read here, and I have been using Episode since 2014. I would have never imagined that I am going to read an official Episode story this bad.
For me, it is not just about the inappropriate themes that were included, (I agree, this kind of story should have never been published here) but the poorly written dialogues, (which were incredibly unrealistic by the way) the lazy directing, the non-existent plot, the non-existent personalities and the description which meant to be sexy, but it is just cringeworthy instead. (It kinda applies to the whole story.)
The whole thing feels undemanding, it feels like a really bad parody, but unfortunately they put it in the romance section, so it is apparently not, and I just can’t believe that nobody who works at Episode said that “This is a mess, we should not publish this.”
Also, WHY WERE THE CHARACTERS SO CHILL ABOUT KILLING THEIR PRINCIPAL WITH A CAR?! That just makes me shiver. Is the person who wrote this a psychopath or something?

I totally agree with you. What’s even more messed up is that you’re given the option to “speed up”??? Like they’re allowing you to feel enthusiastic about purposely running a friggin person over and killing them?
And they obviously saw the backlash which was caused by It started with a bra, a lot of people were complaining about the “bad boy” breaking into the house. Did they think that if two bad boys break into the house then it is going to be okay? What kind of logic is that?
The blood. THAT is disturbing.
I’m gonna just leave this here, even though it’s already been established that Episode doesn’t follow their own guidelines…
What really creeps me out is that we are talking about adults writing this kind of disgusting contents and tossing them into a PG13 app, basically violating their own guidelines.
I thought they couldn’t do worse after “it starts with a bra” but hey, apparently they did. Disturbing.

it highkey hurts that they dont care what we, engaged readers and people who dedicate our time to this app, don’t get to have an input in their decisions. they literally only care about the clout and readers that come with their disgusting stories. im actually deleting the app bc they dont value us at all, only the readers and attention they get with their stories.

I don’t want to be off-topic so let me answer the original post too.
there’s something childish about the story. beginning with the three exclamation points and ending with running over the principal. it’s trying too hard to appeal to kids and get attention. Kids need three exclamation points, otherwise they won’t know what’s important, they’re kids. the punctuation in the title is actually the reason why I first thought it might be a parody too. and then the description with SEXY in all caps. it’s so weird.
and that’s not even mentioning the sexual parts.
As Terry Pratchett once wrote: ‘Multiple exclamation marks,’ he went on, shaking his head, ‘are a sure sign of a diseased mind.’ (harsh, sorry, but you get the point I think. And I just really like quoting Pratchett.)
I dreamt last night that Episode changed its guidelines about sexual content. This feels like dream come true
