I love it but, I hate how you got about 6 new hairs styles for your character but, other characters that were in the story had hairstyles that you couldn’t choose. For instance the girl Sydney had a ponytail and when creating my character I didn’t have that option. And with eyes and facial features or accessories( I don’t know what to call it) some of the characters had freckles and beauty marks. I didn’t have that option as well

I’m having a glitch in Love Life where some characters are pixelated/blurry? Does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

I played it to see the new features and I have nothing to say about it that hasnt been said before. It has a lot of visual appeal from directing to individual features like moles, beards & freckles, (can’t wait to get my hands on this) but…the MC is idiotic, no one IRL thinks like Episode’s stupid MCs

I’m still gonna play to see more features and hairstyles tho, I don’t particularly care for any LI so far, too many diamond scenes and a chore to play tbh…
I wish Episode will take advantage of their app for once and do a fantasy/sci fi story that blow everyone away. I guess they want to be stuck recycling mediocre romance stories. Disappointing cause they can do better.

Like what basically everyone else has said, the story’s pretty meh and nothing at all special (if anything, it reminded me of Episode’s Clueless story, especially because the MC’s boss even has the same haircut as the one in that story) but the new features shown off in it are amazing. I love the hairstyles, and it’s great to see stubble, freckles, and tattoos on some of the characters.
It’d definitely be nice if either Isabelle or Zoe (or better yet, both) was a love interest, though. They seem a lot more fun than Ethan and Noah, who’re basically the typical “good guy with a terrible girlfriend versus ~edgy rocker musician~ guy” set-up. (And I don’t get where people are coming from about seeing Sydney as hot. She’s really hideous with that skin tone combined with her hairstyle that shows her roots.)
Overall, it’s not as bottom-of-the-barrel gutter trash as “It Starts with a Bra” and “My Teacher, My Gangster” (and the less said about “In My Bed”, the better, but it seems the Episode team’s already abiding by that by trying to erase it from existence), but that’s not very high praise. It’s just a very typical Episode story, complete with loads of gem choices slammed in your face every five seconds. So, eh.

I totally got that too!
I just love how there was this scene when MC confronts the rival magazine and Sydney on depicting women as people not objects on their covers. The other magazine Kingpin is definitely shown as being the bad guys for seeing women as such. Like it’s a subtle way for Episode to show that they’re not sexist themselves, only the ‘Neanderthallic’ people are. That they only care about looks, depicting one-dimensional women, etc, etc 
Disclaimer: I’m not accusing Episode or the whole company/team (I still love them in general, especially this community) of being such, but it feels a bit hypocritical and deflective in their self-aware ways yet not taking it one step further from the cliches. I really hope stories like Love Life would transition into better stories where official writers take on their word.

When I use my model in my story as the author, I wanted to use the hairstyle I gave myself in LL, which is the long feathered style with straight bangs.
Just wondering if anyone knows if we will get those options too, or will they be exclusive to LL?

So Chapter 4 is the latest episode, and already like Ethan is the son of the head of the magazine company MC works at, and MC or Ethan never mentioned anything about their jobs when they hung out? For Real? (Excuse my rambling)
And I just realised Sydney herself could have been some sort of protagonist. Think about it: she has the personality and sass, she’s working in a male-dominated/oriented magazine, and she’s dealing with the drama on her boyfriend potentially cheating on her with a new girl.
I bet both Ellen and Daniel the rival bosses would end up together by the end of this. And it’s been a long time since I’ve seen swearing with percent signs and hashtags. Also of course, I need gem choices to work competently in my job.
Austin’s so bae too. Isabelle thinks so too, but to recover from her break-up she wants someone to hook-up and quote wants me to “kiss as many guys until I find my prince”. Are you sure not frogs? And apparently, despite having roommates and friends, Noah never invited them to his gigs except MC this time (ugh). Not to mention Zoe’s girlfriend is a frickin’ rockabilly. There is a DJ with a Sia look. Noah’s supposed to be a bad boy yet wears the palest purple shirt I’ve ever seen, and he is singing about me being his silk-sheets queen, yet he’s afraid of commitment when I chose to make him lead our kiss in the end.

I don’t get it. In an earlier entry, there were screenshots of the cast telling a scary story. When is that scene?
Was that from a gem choice? The “girls’ night” maybe?
