They took the beta version away from me a little while ago. I do hope it gets released though. It was actually a really interesting story.
There were a couple of things that seemed very far left from what most featured stories are usually like and I really appreciated that. I feel like a lot of other stories just do this forced love triangle to make it seem like your choices matter whereas this one had a big twist that combat this… See, at the beginning, you are made to choose who you want to go to prom with - the guy who you’ve always had a flirtation with who’s name I forgot or Tyler, the bad boy. Guess who I chose 
But the night goes haywire no matter who you pick and no matter how many gems you spend. Hehe. Though I will admit that a few of the gem choices added some very memorable scenes that I think were worth the cash.
ANYWAY, you wake up at the end of episode 2 (or was it 3?) and oops, it’s prom night again! Youare basically hit with this genie thing called Deja Vu on your phone who tells you you’re getting a redo. And how does this story decide to change their overused love triangle plot? Well, your redo isn’t a chance to make the night good with your original love interest. No. Instead, you have to pick a new boy, and win him back and your phone genie keeps track of how all your choices are changing your future, etc.
So then you spend the next few episodes kind of confused because episode forces you to ditch your first pick bae… But he comes back anyway for the drama and, like, I know this might seem weird to people and the horny 13 year olds will probably hate it but it made me want to reread it and so I am sad they took away the beta version from me 
Anyway, I just wanted to appreciate this because it really felt like episode was doing something different. Even the way they implemented limited CC and gem outfit choices was something I really respected. As much as Lilly and I wanted this to be a thriller (
), it’s actually the best attempt at comedy Episode has done since Bad Boy Bachelor and if it does make it past beta, I do hope they make comedy it’s officially genre…

I got a bit confused when you were explaining the love triangle aspect, but you made me also wish I had the beta too

It’s hard to explain. I just feel like usually, it’s a traditional love triangle, but with this story, you made your “choice” at the very beginning for who you wanted to go to prom with… Then when it came to the redo, your first choice wasn’t available any more. So it forces you to actually spend time with both love interests instead of having you pick

I guess that makes sense, taking advantage of the fact you can do anything if you turn back time

I think it’s actually pretty cute. I spent gems because I liked having the outfits to return to. Then I spent more gems on my prom outfit. A little annoyed about that because I thought I’d get to wear it a lot more since the damn story was called “prom night,” but by episode 3 we’re forced to change to a different prom dress.
I’m curious about how the LIs work. First we choose between 2, then the one we chose kisses someone else at prom, so we go back in time and choose instead between a third and the one of the first two we didn’t choose. Does this story have 3 LIs then, or just 2?
Anyhow, I like the time travel aspect, and the assets, and none of the LIs seem like complete garbage, which is nice. Plus it seems to have a goofy sense of humor. I’m looking forward to reading more.

I thought this too, but I was happy I kept the prom hair hahaha, and if I remember correctly, there’s flashbacks to prom too, so you see it more even if you don’t wear it that much throughout the story 
But yeah, that was kind of a let down
I believe it’s two love interests but that you choose out of those three guys? Unless the third reject comes back again after the time travel. But I do want to know this too. Who did you pick both times?

I picked Cameron first, because I liked the childhood friend angle and his 3rd look. Then I picked Victor because I was kind of compelled by the closet conversation (even though I was disappointed that none of his looks got rid of the chest hair).
In my version Tyler apparently tried to take the blame for the missing funds, which was sweet, but I am more interested by the MC having an established history with her LIs. I’m kind of disappointed Cameron is out of the picture now. I could try a different playthrough with Tyler as the original prom date to get Cameron back in the picture.

I picked Tyler coz I thought I’d get good memes out of it and then after the time jump, I picked Cameron. Tyler came back in mine though and…
Has a significant role again despite being MIA for a bit… Though worth noting I got a choice to bang Cameron in the do over hahahaha

Did you play beyond episode 3 in the beta? So far my original date hasn’t resurfaced yet.
One thing I feel weird about is the fact that from the original date’s perspective, we stood him up on prom night for no reason.

Yes, I read 7 episodes I think(?) and he only popped in the second last one, so when I say he went MIA, I really mean it
And yes, that bothered me too at first, but I do think when your original choice comes back it made me appreciate that they [episode] forced us to ditch him I know it sounds weird but I just felt like it made it more of a unique and well rounded story

At the first prom, I got locked in a closet with him, danced with him as prom queen and then paid gems to have a party in which he and I went skinny dipping

Just that it’s more than a love triangle - that there is actually a plot and a reason for why things happen
