New Kinda Non Cliche Stories *CHOICES*

I’m definitely getting bored of:
The “Bad boy”
Mean/Popular girl
Nerd/Makeover
Gangs/Mafia’s

AND SO ON.

Everyone’s making stories based on them certain things. Don’t get me wrong they are or can be interesting but it is getting repetitive.
So I have come up with a few story ideas (most are fantasy) which I believe are not cliche but you can decide which one is your favorite and what I can do to make it better.

THE DEVIL’S DAUGHTER
Myra [means evil] is the daughter of the devil, the third most strongest being, is a bad ass. Satan sends her to the supernatural school on earth to protect her from the threats of hell. There are all kinds of creatures at the school, from witches to werewolves, vampires to hellhounds, it was a new experience. Little did she know she was the most powerful creature, a Hybrid (Half Angel & Devil). Next to the Arch Angel Charmeine (Char). This school is where she learns about herself, her present and future. And it’ll all lead up to the moment where she picks a side Good or Bad. The story will have a point system. If you have points on a side, that will be your choice, but you will get to choose.

Her Hunger
The most beautiful and mysterious girl you’ve ever come across has swept you by your feet and made you fall in love. After one sexual night, you wake up to see she’s disappeared and left two holes at the side of your neck. Your best friend (who’s a mythological geek) helps you to find out who she is, where she came from and if there are anymore of her kind. The thing when you get bitten, you either die or become one. At this time no one knew what a vampire was, never mind if it existed

Purple tears
Raven doesn’t know anything about her powers. Or herself. When she turns 18, she searches for her parents to give her the answers she’s been looking for her whole life. Everyday her powers become stronger and she doesn’t know how to control them. Every year is a new foster family and she can never settle. One day she manages she make contact to her parents, they find her and reunite but suddenly she has been taken to a place. A place her parents believed she would be safe with people like her. Supernaturals

They are not the best, a bit rushed but now u can choose which one is your favorite and what should I improve on to make that story better.

After feedback, i read them through again and realized that they’re fantasy cliche lolll. As a 14 yr old writer, I am definitely trying different techniques. Please continue giving me honest feedback so i can improve and learn from them. No sugarcoating

I wouldn’t say the summaries of the plots you created are non-cliche… It still has mega cliche elements like MC the most powerful, hybrid daughter of a powerful something, researching about an obvious mythical creature. Not that it’s a bad thing, of course. As long as the story is original and well-written.

Same, you may not be using romance cliches, but your summaries are super common fantasy/magic cliches.

• Maybe instead of gaining power the MC loses her powers as punishment for a crime she didn’t do. And now not only is she trying to find out who framed her but also has to figure out how to live with her powers
• Or maybe due to having the same name as the witch that used to live in her house, a wannabe magician has to use all the stage magic she learned to trick a counsel of powerful wizards, witches, and warlocks that she the witch they think she is
• Or a vampire hunter gets bitten and now has to hide that fact from her visiting mentor

Some more one you can use

• Modern day Salem Witch Hunt, but instead of burning magical user, a big and powerful company sucks out the magic and uses it to force people to buy their products. So then one girl escapes and now has to expose the company, while hiding that she still has powers
• A girl asks a witch for a love potion to use on insert hot male character her and when she dumps the whole potion into insert food/drink here he becomes super in love with her, like psycho stalker in love. So now girl and stalker boy must hunt down the ingredients for the unlove potion while finding out that they not have nothing in common and would not make a good couple but also that they share no interest to even be friends
• Girl can talk to animals, she tells best guy friend, best guy friend tells his family, his family thinks girl is insane, girl gets shipped off to the looney bin, fifteen years later ex guy friend ask girl to help prevent a war between alien animals and human, girl laughs in his face but agrees to help only and only if ex guy friend murders his family.

There’s not many sitcom style stories so maybe turn the fantasy into a comedy style. You know poke fun at cliches, sort of family guy stuff
